Varmt välkommen till ett seminarium med Stephen G Brooks, statsvetare och amerikansk professor i internationella relationer. Europa behöver omformulera politiken för att möta den nya geopolitiska verkligheten. Donald Trumps anspråk på andra länders territorier, höga tullar och indraget bistånd är bara några områden där USA utmanar Europa och den globala ordningen.
Brooks forskning rör USA:s utrikespolitik, internationell säkerhet och amerikansk makt. Han är också känd för sin analys att Kina, i kampen mellan de båda stormakterna, aldrig kommer att komma i kapp USA militärt och ekonomiskt. Men står sig den slutsatsen idag?
