Lilia Shevtsova is an associate fellow of the Russia and Eurasia programme at Chatham House and a nonresident senior fellow of the Foreign Policy Program at Brookings. From 1995-2014 she was a senior associate of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Carnegie Moscow Center. Previously, she was a professor at the Higher School of Economics, professor of political science at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, deputy director of the Institute for International Economic and Political Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and director of the Center of Political Studies in Moscow.
