Brexit or Business as Usual? Results of the British Election
On May 11th the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) organized a discussion on the results of the parliamentary elections in the United Kingdom (UK), and their implications for the EU and EU member states.
What will the results of the election imply for British politics? How will the results affect European cooperation and the UK’s international obligations? What does it mean for other member states like Sweden? Those were some of the questions addressed at this seminar.
Anand Menon, Professor of European Politics and Foreign Affairs at Kings College, London.
Roderick Parkes, Research Fellow in the Europe Programme at UI.
Lena Karlsson, editor at UI, covering developments in the UK and Ireland.
The seminar was moderated by Mark Rhinard, Senior Research Fellow and head of the Europe Program at UI.
