Lena Karlsson worked at UI from 2002 to 2023, as an editor for the monthly magazine Världspolitikens Dagsfrågor and for the online country information service landguiden.se. Her main focus was on Great Britain, Ireland, Canada and West Africa.
Prior to joining UI, Lena Karlsson worked for several provincial newspapers in Sweden and the newsagency TT, and as a freelance journalist for a number of years. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stockholm University and has studied history, literature, and the history of ideas and learning at Uppsala University.
