Jan Hallenberg is Senior Associate Research Fellow at the Europe Programme, Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI).
He is an expert on US foreign and security policy. He has written four monographs and been a co-editor of four edited volumes and has written several smaller publications. He has been a guest scholar at Princeton, Harvard and the University of California, Berkeley. He has been the main supervisor for 17 Ph.D. students in political science. Professor emeritus in political science at the Swedish National Defense University.
