Ezgi Irgil is an Associate Research Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs’ Programme for Global Politics and Security (GPS) .
Ezgi's work lies at the intersection of global migration governance and public policy, focusing on the political consequences of forced migration.
She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she was working as a Research Assistant at the Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoç). She received her MA diploma in International Affairs from the George Washington University, Washington, DC, and her BA diploma in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey.
