Emma-Lina Löflund is an Analyst at Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS) at UI.
Emma-Lina started at SCEEUS in October 2026. She follows the security policy development in Russia and Ukraine, with a special focus on the Russian aggression towards Ukraine.
Recently, Emma-Lina has served as a researcher at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), where she headed a project on Ukrainian security policy. She has studied at Novgorod State University and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and holds a PhD in Slavic languages from Stockholm University.
