Elsa Hedling is an associate reserach fellow at the Europe Programme, Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI). Her research focuses on European integration, foreign and security policy, the mediatization of politics and digital diplomacy.
Elsa Hedling holds a Ph D. in Political Science from Lund University and she has previously been a visiting research fellow at University of Canterbury in New Zealand. Her current research projects concern digital diplomacy and she has previously studied the digitalization of EU public diplomacy. She has also published on the Europeanization of civil society.
