Christin Mays is Acting Grants Manager at UI.
Mays works closely with researchers to navigate the external funding process, from identifying grant opportunities to submitting applications and following up on reporting requirements.
Prior to joining UI, she spent over a decade at Uppsala University in a range of research, teaching, and administrative roles across several departments and faculties, including as Research Coordinator at the Swedish Institute for North American Studies.
She holds a PhD in Sociology of Education from Uppsala University, where her doctoral research on Swedish–American scholarship programs developed a deep understanding of research funding systems and the internationalization of higher education from historical and sociological perspectives.
