Benjamin Katzeff Silberstein is a research fellow within the Special Research Program (SFP) and the Asia Program.
Benjamin’s research focuses on the Korean Peninsula and North Korea, with a special focus on North Korean society and the country’s foreign relations.
He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania with a dissertation about surveillance in North Korea. He received his MA from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and previously worked as a journalist.
