Andreas Karlsson is a journalist and author with Africa as his primary field of work, together with topics such as democracy, social and political development, and climate.
As a freelance journalist, Andreas Karlsson covers Africa for Scandinavian media outlets. He has also worked in the Balkans and reported from the criminal procedures after the wars there. Andreas has a degree in journalism and a degree of master in political science and philosophy. Andreas is the author of several books and is currently working on two Africa related projects. He has previously written two books about South Africa where he is partially based since many years. Among his other titles are Vatten (“Water”, 2021) about the global water crisis and water’s importance for human development.
