Akinbode Fasakin is an Associate Research Fellow at the Programme on European and Global Politics at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. He is the convener of the Africa Initiative. He holds a PhD in International Relations from Stockholm University. He was a Peace and Security Fellow at the African Leadership Centre, King’s College, London.
