Björn Cappelin is an analyst at the Swedish National China Centre.
Björn has long experience from the Swedish Government offices, including as co-ordinator for China at the National Security Council as well as from working on China-related issues at the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. He as also worked at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the international organisations in Geneva and in the organising committee for Sweden’s participation in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Björn has an M.A. in East Asian Studies from Stockholm university, with a major in Chinese, and has studied at Beijing Language and Culture University.
