Perspectives on the Future of the EU
The lecture series Perspectives on the Future of the EU gathers key points from leading analysts contributing to the discussions about the EU after Brexit and ahead of the elections to the European Parliament in May.
Throughout winter 2018-19 leading analysts on European affairs met in Stockholm, Sweden to discuss issues such as the prospects for further European integration, how to address concerns of legitimacy and democracy in the EU, the status of common values inside the Union and how these affect the EU’s global role.
The aim is to contribute to the discussions about the EU after Brexit and ahead of the elections to the European Parliament in May.
The series, co-organised by The Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS) and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI), will result in an anthology to be published in the spring of 2019.
