Internship spring semester 2024

Internship spring semester 2024

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) programme at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) is currently looking for an intern for autumn semester 2024.

Middle East and North Africa Programme

The MENA programme conducts research, analysis and activities focusing on the region's political, economic, and social conditions. Two areas are of particular interest: conflict management and geopolitics, and socio-economic development. More specifically, the programme deals with the societal changes in countries within the MENA-region, relations between Sweden/Europe and MENA-countries, as well as conflict management. For spring 2024, the programme is recruiting at least one intern who, under the supervision of programme staff, will work on these themes. Read more about the programme here.

Applicants

Applicants should be part of a university internship course or be part of a labour market policy programme. The internship is unpaid. The duration of the internship should be around 20 weeks and must start during the spring semester. The exact timeframe will be settled between the intern and the Swedish Institute for International Affairs.
