In this book Senior Research Fellow Lena Jonson analyzes the response of Russian contemporary art and how Putin's return has changed the terms of both the protest movement and the art itself.
Lena Jonson has been a Senior Research Fellow at UI since 1988 and Head of UI's Russia Program. Her research currently focuses on Russian domestic politics and issues of political and societal change (modernisation) as well as the contemporary role of culture and its standing in Russia.
