The SIIA participates in a networking project on political developments in the Baltic-Black Sea Region with seven other institutes in the Bordic and Baltic countries and the US. The Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University/SAIS plays a role as stimulator. The objective is to contribute proposals and initiatives to efforts to resolve or prevent conflicts in the area, above all situations relating to Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia and Georgia. The work takes place in joint conferences or workshops twice a year, in which even NGOs and governments are included whenever possible. |
