The Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, invite you to a seminar focusing on the countries which are part of the EU:s Eastern Partnership: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. What is the current political and economic development in these countries? What is the role of the EU and Russia in the region, and how does the Eastern Partnership influence EU-Russia relations?
This is the first seminar of three, highlighting that it has been 25 years since the fall of the USSR and examining how developments in the former Soviet republics have taken different directions.
